off day

There wasn`t much energy out there today, but it was still a pretty day. Anytime I can squeeze some surfing into my work day I have to consider myself blessed.


 

Persistence

I saw this guy out at Uppers last night. He surfed pretty well when you consider that his right leg is aluminum from the knee down. I`m always amazed at the human spirit and what we can do when we set our minds to the task.

 

Afternoon @ Uppers

I had to work all day but when a phone call came in ,asking if I wanted to go to Trestles ,the answer was yes. Good swell, manageable crowd and great sunset. Excellent for the mental health.

 
 
 

summer`s on

Tried to surf today, negative tide and south wind early, by the time I got back it was blackball, no parking spaces, Mom`s and kids with sand toys. Maybe tomorrow
 
 
 

nowhere to go

I surfed today just for the exercise and because I`d already burned the gas getting there. Lots of walls with no room to move. 
 

Morning glory

More SW swell today, walled at the wide open spots, but there were still good waves to be had. As usual, proper wave selection is always rewarded.
 
 
 

Walls

The swell angle changed and most spots were walled this morning, I ended up at the point mid-morning because it wasn`t affected by the west wind and wasn`t crowded but it was nothing like yesterday. Still fun though!

 
 
 

56th

It took awhile to pry myself away from work. The crowd at the point was impossible so went to 56th. Not as good but still alot of fun. Crowd was thick.
