storm front

Long day at work, followed by a long drive home was enough motivation to get me in the water Friday evening. It was more fun than I expected. The approaching storm front promises a blown mess at beaches tomorrow.

 west wind howling, sand blowing across PCH , water temp dropped to 52 overnight, just 2 days ago I was thinking spring suit.Brrrrr

March south

Small south swell rolled in overnight, fat high tide tried to push it back, but a few rolled in. So nice to see lefts off the jetty pushing in from that direction. The water is warming up also.

Great sunny morning, short period windswell was ok,crowd managable, went back to work feeling much better

Domingo en los acantilados

 Inconsistent and cold, my expectations were low but paddled out anyway. I was pleasantly surprised with a few fun backside waves that I surfed surprisingly well. Cold and numb after an hour, but I got the day off to a nice start.

more winter

Another sweet February day, warm and sunny with some uncrowded semi- glassy surf this afternoon. Caught lots of fun ones and got out of the water feeling blessed.
