Friday evening

After a long, "hands-on " work week, it was nice to finish the day with some playful surf. Conditions were ok, crowd was light , and a few waves washed away all the stress from the work day

A storm front`s moving in for rain/wind tomorrow but it stalled long enough to give us a very pretty Saturday

First day of Spring

 Surf was ok for awhile this morning and it was a very pretty day at the beach, making for a nice first day of Spring. ( the water though was very cold, head-throbbing, sphincter-tightening cold!! The coldest it`s been all year)

Long day at work, followed by a long drive home was enough motivation to get me in the water Friday evening. It was more fun than I expected. The approaching storm front promises a blown mess at beaches tomorrow.

 west wind howling, sand blowing across PCH , water temp dropped to 52 overnight, just 2 days ago I was thinking spring suit.Brrrrr

March south

Small south swell rolled in overnight, fat high tide tried to push it back, but a few rolled in. So nice to see lefts off the jetty pushing in from that direction. The water is warming up also.
