high tide, morning lumpiness,didn`t surf but grateful for another beautiful morning 
 

Waiting for nothing...

Newsman Tommy Tsunami staked out the pier this morning, but not much happened. If a tidal wave rolled in, I missed it. The beach was closed , no one on the sand or in the water from here to Malibu.

I had hoped to surf today but the winds didn`t lay down overnight, the water dropped to about 50 degrees,and I had work to do. Tomorrow will be better. 

daydreams

Drizzle, howling west winds locally, and a heavy work load meant no surf today. Daydreaming about scenes like these while working.

The surf wasn`t very good but it was one of those days where I just wanted to surf. After hitching a ride on 1/2 dozen crumbly sliders, I went back to business feeling a whole lot better.
