More from Haiti 2010
I`ve been back from Haiti just over a week now, and the impact is fading. I become numb to the things I saw and feelings I had as the "day to day" pay the mortgage- find more work- what`s for dinner routine takes over.The God who was so present a week ago becomes less visible to me because I`m not looking for him like I was last week.

Didn`t look like much from shore, but the surf was surprisingly fun. It got better as the tide dropped and water felt spring-suitable. Summer is only 2 weeks away.

No work means no income today but on the bright side- there is time to surf and a south swell rolling. Every cloud has it`s "silver-lining"

I went back to work today, wanted to surf as well but there just wasn`t much to work with. I`m still having some disconnect driving around Newport after a week in Haiti,images of the poverty vs.great excess. Why do we have so much and they have so little?
