Day of Infamy
The attack on Pearl Harbor happened 68 years ago leading FDR (Pres. Franklin Delano Roosevelt) to declare war on Japan. He proclaimed the date to be one which would "live in infamy" but it seems that America is ready to forget that major attack on US citizens and territory. Todays LA Times had no mention of it on the front page and there is little mention in todays media. "Those who forget their history are doomed to repeat it"or something like that, how soon till we forget 9/11/2001?

silver lining
Came home dry again, I`ve put together a long streak of "no surf" days, which is frustrating as I`ve been working a waterfront project for the last week or so.West winds, high tides, and a looming deadline have kept me onshore, but the coastal drives and morning sunrises are still reward enough. Happy Sunday!
