Sacred Craft surf show

Went to the surf expo in Del Mar, shook hands and talked to Anreini and Junod and saw surf luminaries like Dick Brewer,R. August, Mark Richards etc. Lots of pretty toys

Less energy and a higher tide left things kind of soft late this morning, I rode the long board for a more Sanoesque experience at RJ

Another nice day of SE swell, with clean autumn conditions. Days like this make me glad I`m not a 9-5 type

There seemed to be swell coming from all directions today and most of it walled up, I chose the SE spot at high tide and had some fun ones

West wind was blowing pretty hard early on. I was happy to sit on the seawall with my coffee and watch the moon retreat from the rising sun. The wind had a chill to it and I pondered the reality that it`s almst time to put away the spring suit for the year. Beautiful morning again Lord!

Kind of walled, wobbly windswell mix with a weekend crowd, it felt good to just sip my coffee and watch the day begin

I love this time of year. Didn`t have time to surf,(plus it was sort of weak)but every now and then a good one came through 

October 1st

Not a lot of energy in the water but conditions were great. The water is so warm and visibility about 15 feet. You could see through the wave to the bottom and schools of minnows sliding by as you passed overhead.
