Domingo en los acantilados

 Inconsistent and cold, my expectations were low but paddled out anyway. I was pleasantly surprised with a few fun backside waves that I surfed surprisingly well. Cold and numb after an hour, but I got the day off to a nice start.

Another sweet February day, warm and sunny with some uncrowded semi- glassy surf this afternoon. Caught lots of fun ones and got out of the water feeling blessed.

Presidents Day 2012,
Many had the day off but I ended up working. I tried to surf but high tide , dropping swell and need for steady income kept me onshore.

surf buggies

Saw some nice surf buggies while looking for waves this morning, any of these would be acceptable. High tide killed the surf early.

after the storm

Rain yesterday cleared out to warm offshores, after a very cold morning.These photo`s lie , making it look better than it was. The wind was too strong and shape was mostly walled.

The wind blew all night but things were pretty clean early this AM, air in the low 50`s ,water at 55, 4/3mm wetsuit and numb feet .

winter?

Awesome winter day, high 70`s,glassy and clean wnw swell. Crowd was light till school got out. I tend to be a " tubedodger" by nature, but even I got in and out of a few today.

Honolulu

short trip to Honolulu this week, no surfing, reading and relaxing on the sand with my wife.Very nice
