Christmas Day 2011

Nice Christmas day at the beach, went down after family breakfast and presents to get some of the 3-6' WSW swell that was rolling in. 72 degrees and sunny. Thanks Lord, I`m grateful

Howlin`

 Cold and calm at dawn went to cold and howlin` offshore quite abruptly. Windchill and almost too much wind.

It`s Winter

The swell is dropping off and shape is still wally but it was another nice,sunny day. No work so I might as well surf.

some pretty waves but in reality, the wind just blew too hard. Hard to catch and hard to keep up with.

Great conditions for a lunch time surf on the dropping tide. I`ve been carrying a lot of anger/stress from work the last few days and an hour in the water washed most of it away. I came out of the water a happier man.

brief surf window early but cold air and poor water quality, plus work load, kept me dry, drinking coffee in the parking lot.

Cold clear morning, light offshore and low 40`s at sunrise. Went out for an hour of "aqua-therapy " , washing away some residual anger/ frustration from the work week and renewing a sense of gratitude and appreciation for a new morning. Thanks Lord!

Kiddie Pool

Great weather and conditions but no surf for days now, Lake Pacific. I intend to surf on whatever is out there tomorrow just for the therapeutic value.
