tale of two cities

Started at the cliffs early, west wind and wished I had a sweat shirt 
 
15 min drive east and it was smooth and warm
 
 

not much

Not much to work with out there today , I had the time and desire to surf but took a short look and went back to the jobsite

No fog this morning, I could see how walled and crowded it was as I drove up. I ended uip surfing around Beach Blvd. Still walled but only a few guys out. The water is still very warm and very clear. Nice start to the day 

relief

I went down after working all day in 100 degree heat to find relief in cool clear water and some fun waves 
 

soul food

Beautiful autumn afternoon, still fairly smooth after work. Water felt great after being nearly 100 at the job all day.  
 

 
I surfed today but it was too foggy for photo`s I had to paddle out to see how bad it was. Took one walled off backwashed wave and went back to work

Similiar surf to yesterday but add in knee-high backwash, still better than no surf 
 

sunday drive

Warm water and glassy with the weekend crowd. The SW swell was kinda walled but some good sections if you chose well. I chose poorly.

Grainy pics from early this morning,not enough light for clarity. The surf was better yesterday but it was still fun. Crowded by 7am. I`m off to Reno again to see my Dad.

Good surf at sunrise and a beautiful morning. I said a prayer for my Dad who`s still in the hospital with pnuemonia 

summer fades

Fall`s almost here. quiet day on the beach , just a few guys out. The surf was kinda soft but the water`s warm and the sun`s shining

I guess it`s kind of like when my wife gets depressed and goes shoe shopping, saw this on craigslist and just wanted it. 
 

Return

I`ve spent the last couple days by my fathers hospital bed. I flew home to take care of business but had to get some surf time in first.That saltwater washes away a load of emotion and the surf was pretty fun. Aqua therapy.

Soft and weak this morning, but still nice to start the day in the water 

Triple bypass

Life is catching up to my Dad. Went to Reno for a visit as he recovers from Bypass surgery. 
 

Blessed

What a georgeous day. I worked down south a bit, slipped away to surf some thigh-highs in very warm water, kids back in school , parking everywhere and few guys out.
